There is a simple way to check on sensor firmware version through Conserv Cloud Mobile App.
NOTE: This feature is currently in "BETA" phase and not available to all of our customers.
Conserv releases firmware updates for SCS-3 sensors semi-regularly. These can include improvements and new features so it's not a bad idea to check the firmware version. In order to do this you must do the following:
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone
- Log into the Conserv Cloud Mobile App
- Select "Connect to sensors"
- The app will start scanning for sensors nearby and display the sensor serial number along with the firmware version (see below).
NOTE: If your Conserv sensor shows " - " for the firmware version that means it is operating on version 1.2.0 or 1.3.0, which do not display the firmware version. It's time to update the firmware for this one by clicking "Legacy Update."
How do I check if there's a firmware update available?
Simply connect with a sensor, and look to see if there's a button that says "UPDATE FIRMWARE" (see below). If the button is not present then there are no new updates available. Check out our article on updating the firmware to learn more.
