What does the "24hr Fluctuation" mean?

Within the "Additional" options in Conserv Cloud's analytics page, you'll see the 24hr fluctuation checkbox. What is this? How is it calculated?

While it's important to acknowledge the number of fluctuations recorded in your environmental data, it's also equally important to note how long the fluctuations lasted and when they occurred. This is one reason why we've added the "24hr Fluctuation" option to our analytics experience. 

The way our software gets this number is pretty cool. It looks at every data point gathered in every 24hr period, and the output you see on the graph is the highest level of change that occurred in that time frame. This is represented by the bar graph shown underneath the main Analytics graph:

And, it can also be seen as the +/- number in the data box when you hover your mouse over the graph:
