### What is the Data Summary Feature
The Data Summary feature in Conserv Cloud Analytics provides users with clear, actionable statistical insights at a glance. This powerful tool transforms complex environmental data into an easy-to-read table format, enabling you to quickly assess the performance of your collection environment without manually calculating statistics.
### Key Benefits
The Data Summary feature offers several advantages for collection care professionals:
- **Instant Statistical Analysis**: View minimum, average, maximum, and standard deviation values without manual calculations
- **Real-Time Responsiveness**: Data updates automatically based on your selected date range and zoom level
- **Multi-Sensor Comparison**: Compare statistics across multiple sensors simultaneously

### How Data Summary Works
#### Statistical Calculations
The Data Summary table displays four key statistical measures for each sensor:
- **MIN**: The lowest recorded value within your selected time period
- **AVG**: The average (mean) value across all readings in the selected range
- **MAX**: The highest recorded value within your selected time period
- **STD. DEV.**: Standard deviation, indicating how much variation exists from the average
#### Real-Time Updates
The Data Summary feature dynamically responds to your analytics settings:
- **Date Range Selection**: Statistics recalculate when you adjust your date range
- **Zoom Level**: Zooming in or out on the graph updates the displayed statistics
- **Filter Application**: Any applied filters (for readings or selected sensors) immediately affect the calculated values
#### Multi-Sensor Display
Each sensor visualized on your analytics graph appears as a separate row in the Data Summary table. This allows you to:
- Compare performance across different sensors
- Identify outliers or problematic sensors quickly
- Assess environmental consistency across multiple locations
### Accessing the Data Summary
The Data Summary feature is available exclusively to paid Conserv Cloud users. To enable this feature:
1. Navigate to the **Analytics** tab in Conserv Cloud using the left-hand navigation panel.
2. Select your desired sensors and configure your view
3. In the **CUSTOMIZE** menu on the top right of the graph, locate **Show Data Summary**
4. Turn on the **Show Data Summary** toggle
The Data Summary table will appear below your analytics graph, displaying statistical information for all active sensors.
### Understanding the Data
When interpreting your Data Summary results, consider the following:
- **Standard Deviation Values**: Lower standard deviation indicates more stable conditions, while higher values suggest greater variability
- **Range Analysis**: Compare MIN and MAX values to understand the full scope of environmental fluctuations
- **Average Trends**: Use AVG values to identify long-term environmental patterns
- **Sensor Comparison**: Look for significant differences between sensors that might indicate equipment issues or environmental variations
