Explaining unusual humidity spikes.
Data logging hardware can sometimes have small blips caused by internal electrical workings. This can happen in sensors of all brands and will be most noticeable with relative humidity.
The chart below shows a sensor that has been displaying occasional 100%RH readings.
In order to see these blips clearly, set the view to No aggregation in Analytics v.1., or look at your graph directly in Analytics v.2.
If you only see one or two of these blips, they can be ignored. However, beware of calculated metrics that include these 100%RH spikes. They will distort the general picture of your data.
