View Today's Data

In Analytics v.1

To include today’s data in a graph or report, check your data aggregation settings. If they are set to "Daily," the system displays an average for the day and because there is still data that is missing for today, you cannot see that average on your graph.

  1. Sign in to Conserv Cloud.
  2. In the left navigation menu, select Analytics.

Under Data Range, select Hourly or 15 Minute in the Aggregate By menu.

In Analytics v.2

The new analytics defaults to showing all your data points (no aggregation), which preserves spikes and gaps that are critical for analysis. For longer time ranges, a smart downsampling algorithm reduces visual clutter while preserving the true shape of your data — you'll see a "downsampled" indicator on the chart when this is active.

You can also choose your preferred aggregation level from the Customize menu to control how your data is displayed. 15-minute and hourly aggregations are available in the CUSTOMIZE menu under CHART OPTIONS.

Select Sensors for Viewing

This feature is only available in Analytics v.2.

  1. Sign in to Conserv Cloud
  2. Click Analyze on the left navigation pane or click the bar graph icon in any sensor.
  3. Use the data selection panel under LOCATIONS / SPACES / SENSORS. Type to search for a specific space or sensor, or browse the dropdown tree view. You can select multiple sensors and multiple data types (temperature, RH, dewpoint, illuminance, UV) to view all at once.
  4. Hover over any line in the graph to highlight it.
  5. Click any item in the legend under the graph to temporarily hide or show it without removing that sensor from your selections — great for isolating a specific sensor in a busy chart.

Select a Default Favorite Time Period

This feature is only available in Analytics v.2.

  1. Sign in to Conserv Cloud
  2. Click Analyze on the left navigation pane or click the bar graph icon in any sensor.
  3. Click the star next to any TIME PERIOD. That range will load first automatically every time you open Analytics.

Collapse the Sidebar

Click the collapse button to hide the left-hand selection panel and give your graph the full screen width.

Use the 24hr Fluctuation Option

In Analytics v.1

The "24hr Fluctuation" checkbox lets you visualize environmental changes within a 24-hour period. It helps you track the largest fluctuations in conditions like temperature or humidity during each day. The checkbox only works when you select a Graph Type View Single Reading and Aggregate by Daily.

Calculation
The software reviews every data point collected over a 24-hour period. The output that is displayed on the graph is the highest level of change within that time frame. This is shown as a bar graph beneath the main analytics graph.

It is also shown as a +/- value in the data box when you hover over the graph.

Important Notes

  • Calendar Day vs. Rolling Period: The bar graph uses a calendar 24-hour period (midnight to midnight), while the % fluctuation KPI is based on a rolling 24-hour period, which provides more precise data.
  • Use as a General Indicator: Since environmental fluctuations do not strictly follow a calendar day, use the 24-hour fluctuation bar graph as a general indicator, while the % fluctuation KPI offers a more accurate measure.

For more precise understanding, refer to how % fluctuation is calculated.

In Analytics v.2

24-hour fluctuations are calculated as the maximum difference between the maximum and minimum readings in the past 24 hours for each available reading. A dotted line will indicate the maximum allowance set by the user in the Level assigned to the sensor being shown. To learn more about Levels, see Understand Levels.

The 24-hour fluctuation line graph can be toggled on or off in the CUSTOMIZE menu.

  1. Sign in to Conserv Cloud.
  2. In the left navigation menu, select Analytics or select a sensor from the Sensor page using the bar graph icon.
  3. Open the CUSTOMIZE menu on the top right of the graph.
  4. Toggle the Show Fluctuation Chart on or off under the METRICS section.
METRICS are only available for Pro customers.

Use the Zoom Feature

For a closer look at a section of data on a graph, you can use the drag-to-zoom feature.

For both Analytics v.1 and v.2:

  1. Sign in to Conserv Cloud.
  2. In the left navigation menu, select Analytics.
  3. Hover over the start point of the date range that you want to focus on.
  4. Click and drag across the graph to your end point.
When you release the click, the graph zooms in to show your selected range.

To return to the full graph view, click Cancel or Reset Zoom.

View Weather Data

In Analytics v.1

Viewing weather data in Conserv Cloud helps you understand how outdoor conditions affect indoor environments, especially RH, which is crucial for managing your collection.

  1. Sign in to Conserv Cloud.
  2. Ensure first that the location addresses were entered for the Location:
    1. Navigate to the Sensors page.
    2. Select the location.
    3. Update the address if necessary. Conserv Cloud pulls specific weather data from the National Weather Service based on this information.
  3. In the left navigation menu, select Analytics.
  4. In the Additional menu, select Show Weather.show-weather-analytics-v1

Weather data is available as hourly or daily averages. To view it alongside sensor readings, select hourly or daily aggregation in your graph settings. When selected, your weather data shows as a dotted line on your graph.
