Activating your Outdoor Sensor is quick and easy.
Conserv makes the Smart Collection Sensor (SCS) that is tailored for collection professionals. However, Conserv also curates additional sensors for other uses that meet the Conserv standard. The LHT65 outdoor sensor is one of these devices.
What's in the box?
Inside the box, you will find the following items:
- The LHT65 sensor
- A remote temperature probe
- A programming cable
Since Conserv currently does not support the external probe or user programming for this device, you can set both the probe and cable aside.
Activate the Outdoor Sensor
- On the bottom of the device, look for a button labeled "ACT" near the QR code and indicator light.
- Press and hold the "ACT" button for about three seconds. After the device is activated, the indicator light will blink green five times quickly.
- After activation, the device begins reporting data to Conserv Cloud.
Mount the Sensor
Mount the sensor in a location that is sheltered from direct sunlight and rain to avoid data inconsistencies. Ideal spots include under the eaves of a building or in an outdoor hallway or breezeway.
