### About Saved Views

A saved view stores the setup you have on screen in Analyze: the sensors, spaces, floors, HVAC zones, or tags you selected; the readings and metrics; the date range; and the Customize options such as scale ranges and display toggles. Open it later and Analyze is set up exactly as you left it.

Saved views live in the page title. When no view is open, the title reads **Analyze**. When a view is open, it reads **Analyze / \[View Name\]**, and the arrow next to the name opens the list of your saved views.

**Note:** Saved views are private to you. Nobody else in your account can see or change them. To show a colleague what you are looking at, share the link — see [Share a Saved View](https://support.conserv.io/knowledge/use-saved-views-in-analytics#share-a-saved-view)

✅ Saved Views are available to all users on all Conserv plans. Saved Views was launched in September 2026.

#### What a View Saves

A saved view captures every part of your Analytics setup, so the graph looks exactly the way you left it. This includes:

- The sensors you selected
- The environmental parameters shown, such as dew point
- Axis settings, such as a custom temperature range
- Additional data layers, such as exterior weather, precipitation, and preservation metrics
- Additional graphs, such as the fluctuation graph

#### Example Views

Here are a few ways to use Saved Views:

- **Sensor groups**: Create one-click shortcuts to groups of sensors you often analyze together, such as an office and a basement.
- **Cold storage**: Use a temperature axis that is different from your default setting.
- **Detailed and simple**: Keep a detailed view with exterior weather, preservation metrics, and a fluctuation graph, alongside a simple view that shows only the main graph.
- **Light exposure**: Show illuminance and UV data for sensors near light-sensitive works.

### Create a Saved View

1. Sign in to Conserv Cloud.
2. Open **Analytics**.
3. Select the sensors you want to include.
4. Set up the graph the way you want it, including parameters, axis settings, weather data, and additional graphs.
5. Click **Save this view** (at the top, next to Analytics)
6. Enter a name for the view, for example, "Office and Basement."
7. Click **Save**.
*The view name appears at the top of the Analytics page, and the view is added to your list of saved views.*

**Tip:** Start from an existing saved view, change it, and save the result as a new view with the **Save as a new view...** option. The original view stays unchanged.

**Limits**

- You can save up to 50 views.
- Each name can be up to 60 characters.
- Two of your views cannot share a name. Capitalization does not make a name different: *Main Gallery* and *main gallery* count as the same name.

### Open or Close a Saved View

1. Sign in to Conserv Cloud.
2. Open **Analytics**.
3. Select the view from your list of saved views on the top to the right of **Analyze.**
*Analytics loads with the sensors and settings saved in that view, and the view name appears at the top of the page.*
4. To go back to a plain Analyze page without changing what is on screen, open the list and click **Clear selection**.

**Note:** A saved view stores your selection, not a snapshot of the data. A view saved with **Last 7 days** always shows the most recent 7 days when you open it, not the week it was saved. A view built on a tag or a space shows whichever sensors belong to that tag or space today, including sensors added after you saved the view.

### Update a Saved View

Once a view is open, any change you make to the filters marks the view as ***Edited*** to the right of the view name.

- To keep the changes in this view, click **Save changes** next to the page title.
- To keep the changes as a separate view, open the list and click **Save as new view…**, then enter a name and click **Save**.
- To go back to the view as it was saved, open the list and click **Discard changes**.
*Clicking Discard changes will refresh the page.*

#### Rename a Saved View

1. Open the view you want to rename.
2. Click the arrow next to the page title and select **Rename…**.
3. Enter the new name and click **Rename**.

#### Delete a Saved View

1. Open the view you want to delete.
2. Click the arrow next to the page title and click **Delete view**.
3. Click **Delete view** to confirm.
*The view is removed from your list. The sensors and date range stay on screen until you change them.*

**Caution:** Deleting a saved view cannot be undone. Anyone you shared the link with can still open it — only your saved view is removed.

### Share a Saved View

You can share a view with other users on your account by sending them its URL link.

1. Open the saved view in **Analytics**.
2. Copy the URL from your browser's address bar.
3. Send the URL to your colleague
*When your colleague opens the link, Analytics loads with the same sensors and settings.*

**Note:** Shared links respect roles and permissions. Only users who are signed in and have access to the data in the view can open it. The recipient sees only the sensors they have access to. Sensors outside their access are left out of their chart. The recipient must have a Conserv Cloud account in the same organization as you.

The link gives your colleague the view, not a saved view of their own. If they want to keep it, they can save it on their side; their copy and yours are independent.

### Tips for Getting the Most From Saved Views

- Pair Saved Views with [sensor tags](https://support.conserv.io/knowledge/organize-sensors-with-tags-floors-and-hvac-zones?hsLang=en). If you tag sensors by what they monitor, such as the contents of a display case or the materials in a space, you can build views around those tags and get to the analysis you need faster.
- Give each view a short, descriptive name so it is easy to find later.
- Keep a simple view for quick checks and a detailed view for deeper analysis.
- To compare outdoor and indoor conditions, add exterior weather data to a view. For more information, see [Show Weather Data in Conserv](https://support.conserv.io/knowledge/show-weather-data-in-conserv?hsLang=en).

### Frequently Asked Questions

**Why does my saved view show different sensors than when I saved it?**
Views built on a tag, space, floor, or HVAC zone show the sensors that belong to it today. If sensors were added to or removed from that tag or space, the view reflects that.

**Can I share a saved view with my team?**
Share the link — see [Share a View With a Colleague](https://support.conserv.io/knowledge/use-saved-views-in-analytics#share-a-view-with-a-colleague). Saved views themselves are private to you.

**Why am I unable to save another view?**
You have reached the limit of 50 saved views. Delete a view you no longer use to make room.
