Resolve Missing Sensors in Latest Readings

If your sensors aren't showing up in Latest Readings in the Conserv Cloud Mobile App, follow these quick steps to resolve the issue.

If your sensors are not appearing in the Latest Readings section of the Conserv Cloud Mobile App, try these simple troubleshooting steps.

Restart the App

  1. Close the Conserv Cloud Mobile App completely.
  2. Reopen the app.
  3. Navigate to Latest Readings.
  4. Select the correct Location using the building icon on the top right.
  5. Swipe down to refresh the page.

Navigate Away and Refresh 

  1. Select any other Home screen option (for example, Connect to Sensors).
  2. Return to Latest Readings.
  3. Swipe down to refresh the page.

Missing Sensors from Hierarchy

If your sensors are showing up in the Card view in the web browser but not in the Hierarchy view or the mobile app (or new Analytics), the issue is likely related to deleted spaces. This occurs when sensors are assigned to spaces that no longer exist in the current hierarchy.

Understanding the Issue

The Conserv Cloud Mobile App displays sensors based on what is in your Hierarchy view. If sensors appear in the Card view but not in the Hierarchy view, they are sitting in spaces that have been deleted. This commonly happens when:

  • Old spaces with similar or identical names were removed from the hierarchy
  • Sensors were not moved to the current active spaces before the old spaces were deleted
  • The naming convention for spaces was changed but sensors remained in the old structure

This may happen after a user has been "cleaning up" or organizing the hierarchy, or when newly purchased (or subscription renewal) sensors are added to the original Space in the Conserv Office Building Location which a user has deleted in the past.

Resolving Missing Sensors

  1. Sign in to Conserv Cloud on your computer.
  2. Navigate to the Sensors tab on the left navigation menu and select Cards on the top left.
  3. Identify sensors that should appear in the mobile app but are not showing up. Confirm they are not there when you switch to Hierarchy view.
  4. Move these sensors to the correct spaces in your current hierarchy. See this article on how to Update Sensor Locations for detailed instructions.
  5. Close and reopen the Conserv Cloud Mobile App completely. 
  6. The sensors should now appear in Latest Readings.

The mobile app cannot display sensors that are not properly organized within the hierarchy structure, so organizing your sensors in the web application is essential for mobile app functionality.
