# LTC2-LT Ultra Low Freezer Sensor Specifications

### Basic Details

The Dragino LTC2-LT works on the same LoRaWAN network as Conserv's Smart Collection Sensors (SCS). The sensor will take a reading every 20 minutes.

**Note:** If you would like your LTC2-LT to take a reading every 15 minutes to match the rest of your sensors, contact Conserv support and we will change the reading interval for you.

The LTC2-LT is the LTC2-LB temperature transmitter paired with Dragino's DR-LT low temperature probe. It measures temperature only, using a Class A PT100 probe on the end of a 2 meter cable. The probe measures down to -196 °C, which makes the LTC2-LT suitable for ultra-low freezers.

**Note:** Freezer walls can block the signal between a sensor and your gateway. With the LTC2-LT, you can place the probe inside the freezer and keep the main enclosure outside, where it has a clearer connection to the gateway.

The LTC2-LT uses an 8500mAh Li/SOCl2 non-rechargeable battery and is designed for long-term use of up to several years.

- Max boost current: 2A, 1 second

Power consumption:

- Sleep Mode: 5uA @ 3.3v
- LoRa Transmit Mode: 125mA @ 20dBm, 82mA @ 14dBm

- RX sensitivity: down to -139 dBm

### Storage and Operation Temperatures

- Supply Voltage: Built-in battery, 2.5v ~ 3.6v
- Operating Temperature (main enclosure): -40 ~ 85 °C

**Caution:** The -40 ~ 85 °C operating range applies to the main enclosure. Only the probe should be placed inside ultra-low freezers.
